* Generate and translate product concepts to technically feasible and consumer-relevant products using information from various products testing during all phases of product development for Greater China
* Lead the product development of innovation projects within Greater China and scale up to manufacturing in a changing regulatory environment.
* Effectively communicates technical topics to various audiences to influence decisions.
* Effectively utilizes networking relationships with internal external to acquire technical knowledge and expertise.
* Utilizes all relevant regulatory guidelines in all aspects of product formulation to ensure legal compliance and product safety.
* Applies expertise of ingredient functionality, interactions and other fundamental food science principles for optimum product design.
* Utilizes structured process of analysis, design, contingency planning and resolution of product development problems.
* Applies knowledge of nutritional and medical science and understands implications to product design.
Recognizes the importance of adherence to GMP, EU and local regulatory requirements.
Qualification:
Advanced degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Nutrition, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related discipline. M.Sc. or PhD desired.
